FAQs From Past Candidates
Can I apply for jobs if I don’t live near an office?
HNE has opportunities across the country, including work-from-home, so applicants should feel welcome to apply to all open positions, even if they’re not local to our offices.
Will you conduct a background check?
We frequently run background checks on candidates. This varies by position and the client we are hiring for.
What kind of roles do you recruit for?
Our hires get placed in all sorts of roles in a variety of industries. We place candidates in temporary, temporary to permanent, and direct hire roles year-round.
Do I need to have my own equipment?
No. Employers will provide the equipment, including laptops, phones, and anything else necessary for the role that you are hired for. However, if it is a remote position, candidates must have reliable internet access.
How long is the process from initial contact to hire?
The process is quick. When we post openings, they are almost always for immediate hire, so we move fast. You will be asked to participate in a screening with an HNE Recruiter. For some positions we will make an offer on the spot contingent on a background check. In other positions you may need to interview with a Hiring Manager at the company where you’ll be working. This could add a few days to the process in order to arrange schedules.
Do you offer fully remote opportunities?
Yes! Some of HNE’s positions are fully remote, including many of our temporary and temporary to permanent opportunities.
Do I need to pay for recruitment services?
No. All costs for our service is covered by the company we place you with. HNE will never charge a candidate a fee.
Do you offer resume review or interview advice?
Your resume should be in top shape prior to submitting it to us. We will review your resume, but we will not specifically edit your resume for you. We will provide counseling on your submitted information, help you prepare for interviews, provide recommendations on how to strengthen your skill-sets and answer any questions you may have. We are here to help you be successful!
